A few weeks ago, Tom and I took a break and went on a day hike through Morton Arboretum, located in Lisle, IL.
It was a beautiful day for a walk, semi cloudy and cool. The trails were beginner level and well maintained. Once we got away from the crowded Visitor's Center and got away into the woods, we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

I was pleasantly suprised to see no litter on the paths.
We'll put Morton Arboretum on our list as a place we'll re-visit when we need a day off the farm.

beautiful. I wish we still had our fall color...then my yard would still look like that! only minus the fancy cabbage :)
